Fun and games Hey, Hey! This week with Epic has been mighty good fun. On Tuesday we went ten-pin bowling where strikes and splits were doled out amongst the group, everyone had a terrific time and lots of laughter filled the alley. We all enjoyed a nice meal with our friends and the end result was that the last game was won by three people: you don’t see that very often. Well done to all the winners.
Thursday night- slight change of plan. Stuart’s house wasn’t ready but we'll go next time. Instead we hung out at the Pavilion and played pass the bomb - what a cracking game such fun and very funny but aaaarggghhh it’s soo infuriating. We all had a fantastic time.
Saturday saw us catch the bus to Exeter, a history day in mind, we did some girly shopping and poor Stuart was not amused by this, but what man is when it comes to women and shopping?
Then we walked around the Roman wall. Some very interesting facts were to be found including the fact that the wall was built in 200 ad. The route we took was very interesting we saw some beautiful parts of Exeter that we didn’t even know existed. We finished off with lunch at The Harvester; We were all ready for a spot of grub and more shopping ("You didn't do that to Stuart did you?" "Oh yes we did and in a right proper fashion too!")
Sunday saw us off to Trago Mills, an interesting car journey aaarrrggggghhh squishee heeeelp. When we got there we went and had a real good time on the arcades including a trip to see the model railway, we stopped at a restaurant for some grub at the garden centre then we looked round the shops and brought various goodies to come home with. A great day out.
Thanks to Vicky and Jan for this week out
That’s all for now folks - See you next week tootlepip.
