On Wednesday evening a group of us went to the panto called The Snow Queen and we had a right old laugh, it was really nice to meet up with the Turning Tides group and to have our friend Michelle who used to do shortbreaks join us for the night. We all had lots of fun and barrels of laughter.
One lady particularly found it amusing and really enjoyed Granny Fanny Annie (the panto dame) "this was my very first panto". Another lady said that she really enjoyed the wicked Snow Queen's act, "she was very good". Michelle commented "it was very funny", we were even given the privilege of meeting the cast and had our pictures taken with them - For an amateur dramatics production it was very good!
On Thursday evening we had a lady called Rachel come and do a pamper night with us. The products are made by Mary Kay and has been going in the UK for 10 years but 50 in America. It was set up by a lady called Mary Kay who wanted to feel empowered and good about herself. They have some of the top 10 best beauty products in the world! We thoroughly enjoyed pampering our skin whilst learning how to look after it. One lady said "I loved the way it made my skin feel", someone else went on to say "my skin feels very soft". The difference was incredible and even now my skin still feels really nice and soft.
