We are thrilled to announce the launch of a 15 month collaborative arts project: The Turning Tides Project at Arnos Vale. Arnos Vale is a Victorian Cemetery in the heart of Bristol. It's 45 acre site includes a wealth of historic architecture and buildings set in beautiful natural woodland. The Turning Tides Project will use the Arnos Vale Landscape to inspire the creation of a series of original musical works that will play from the landscape forming the soundtrack to an accessible journey around the site. The creative process will include a series of on and off site workshops, the opportunity to work with a range of musicians and musical styles, gain skills and experience in recording and editing music and contributing to a large scale performance that includes an exhibition and workshops: If you'd like to hear more about how you can be involved in this exciting project please contact us. The Turning Tides Project at Arnos Vale will have it's own page on our web site so that you can watch the journey unfold. This project is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Written by Jane Williams, Published by Dominic Palfreman
