Radio Vibe

Our monthly Podcast on MoorFM and  MixCloud
Around the World in 80 Waves
What is the RadioVibe?

The Turning Tides Radio Vibe is a Podcast that is on MoorFM and our MixCloud page, with a new Podcast on the first Wednesday of every month. Every show is available all day every day on our MixCloud page. Our Podcast is a platform for everyone to express themselves and learn new skills. Such as: editing skills, learning how to record interviews, gathering news and sports information, and live music recording. We like to promote local artists and companies. The Podcast isn’t just hosted by one person, we have many presenters who each have their own style and introduce themselves on the show.

Some of the main features of our Podcast include:

* A song request section where the listeners can contact us and ask for a song to be played
* A ‘guess the song game’ where the listeners have to try and work out a song from only a 5 second sample
* The ‘Official Turning Tides Top 5 Countdown’
* ‘Live and Loud’ where we showcase local artists or our own work
* Interviews

What is MixCloud?

MixCloud is an app that you can download to access lots of podcasts, including the Radio Vibe, that you can look up. It serves as an archive for all of our previous and current radio shows. Lots of music in one place! You can access MixCloud from your smartphone and your computer. Best of all, it's free! If you miss any radio shows or just want to listen to previous shows then follow this  link:

How is the Radio Vibe made?

Radio Vibe is planned and created in our Making Waves sessions, we contribute songs, write scripts, research the top 5 on the internet, learn about local performances and recordings. Any extra editing can be done outside of these sessions and in the MoorFM studios.

Soon we will be filming some of our recording sessions so that you can get a look at how we do it right here!

How can I be a part of the RadioVibe?

You can request songs using the form at the bottom of the page or email Alix on alix.tttp@outlook.com. You can come along to one of our Making Waves sessions and get involved in the production and creation of our projects. Want to perform on the Radio Vibe? Then contact Jake and we'll see what we can for you. We often interview people on our show, local politicians and musicians are all welcome.
